Best Celebrity Looks

Los Angeles Day SpasBEST: ELIZABETH BANKS
She is a vibrant girl who knows how to wear her hair and show herself off to her best advantage! Lovely, curly locks, with just a few of layers, accentuate her beautiful oval face. Too many layers would give her an "Orphan Annie" look. A feminine, far-side part softens her forehead and emphasizes her sexy eyes! Her natural wheat base color gives a nice contrast to her warm, buttery highlights and subtle, pinkish skin. Sweet and soft pink lips are absolutely kissable! She's the perfect "girl next door."

Los Angeles Day SpasBEST: ANGELINA JOLIE
All hairstyles—trendy, retro, or classic—look great on her. She has the perfect oval face that you only see in beauty school textbooks! Her eyebrow arches are soft and not over-plucked. Just to give her an extra, healthy glow, some golden-brown streaks would add to an almost perfect picture.

Los Angeles Day SpasBEST: JENNIFER LOPEZ
I still don't care what people say. Gigli was a fun movie! This hair color is extremely popular with young women and they continue to request her color a lot. It is flattering to her and brings out her beautiful bronze tones in her soft skin. I suspect her natural color is dark brown or almost black, and she has lightened it two levels with a tint that brings out rich brown tones. Then, she highlights it with caramel streaks, a double-process treatment that requires bleach followed by toning.

Los Angeles Day SpasBEST: CHRISTIE BRINKLEY
Christie, you look just as fresh and beautiful as any current hot Ford Agency model in Vogue magazine. Ya know why? Your great skin is enhanced by glamorous buttery streaks running through your natural light brown color. The streaks are light enough to have a sun-kissed look. The long, layered cut, worn forward a bit with wispy, messy pieces, is classic. She could wear it any number of ways. It could have a more trendy feeling blown back, with a bit of a waxy pomade to make it a seventies, edgy look. Either way, she is classic, and long hair is definitely in!

Los Angeles Day SpasFUN: TORI SPELLING
Tori's newest look is much more flattering. Her rich dark-blond hair is dazzled with deep honey streaks and soft ringlets, giving her a warm, more approachable feeling. My recommendation would be to add some chopped layers at cheek length to give a less oblong-looking face. She has chosen an excellent off-center part that sweeps over her forehead and enhances her oval face.

Los Angeles Day SpasBEST: GABRIELLE UNION
Gabrielle's hair color shows rich dark brown tones. It looks great on her skin. The hint of lighter golden streaks gives her the glow of the movie star she is. I like how she blows her hair back; it's flattering since it emphasizes her gorgeous cheekbones and has a hip, new look. Like Mariah Carey, she has long, curly hair, but Gabrielle has body on the top and a more layered look, so it creates a more complete image.

Los Angeles Day SpasBEST: SHARON STONE
It's best to be on the set on time! Sharon probably finds this classic and easy pixie cut convenient. Just to add a splash, Sharon might add a few dark blond, chunky lowlights-and, for a final hip look, mess up the style a bit with some molding paste. For those of you who try this yourself, I remind you to emulsify the paste in your hands for a bit and then rake it through your hair. Don't just smoosh it directly all over your hair.

Los Angeles Day SpasBEST: KATE HUDSON
I know you are surprised to hear it from a hairdresser, but Kate's roots look great! Her trendy, piecey locks are enhanced by the glamorous shadow the roots create. I wouldn't recommend dark roots on everyone; it depends on what look you're after. Kate's skin color along with her very light hair color allow for a wonderful contrast created by the dark roots. Her hair has a great shine to it that finishes off the hair cut with a spark.
