Naturally Brunette hair
From: Lisa
10/25/2004

I have naturally brunette straight- mildly wavy shoulder length hair. I've been highlighting it to blonde for the last 13 years. Last month I think my hair was trying to tell me ENOUGH! and the color took horribly and half of my hair broke off. I've had the real fried ends cut off already and now I am left with hair that has no style
(unfortunately it is naturally just wavy enough to look like I purposely flipped it up and puffed it on the bottom only!)It is terrible. I'm afraid to flat iron it because of the condition and as a result have been wearing it like a dork! The color is horrendous, it consists of ashy blonde streaks with the occasional thick , giant brass streaks and needless to say it has put 10 years on me. I would like to fix this but am wondering if you think that I should leave it alone for a while or come right in and fix it. I don't want a super short style and with all the broken pieces I don't know if there are any other options. Please help me and tell me what I can do and if you could fix it. Until then,I will continue to wear a baseball cap and hide.

thank you,
Lisa
