coloring and cutting my own hair From: Leslie 5/20/2005 I'm 53 (feel 37) have fine, thinning hair, and I'm overweight (working on that). I'm also allergic to hair sprays, cosmetics, most gels, etc. For years I've been coloring and cutting my own hair because it just seemed easier--I hate looking at myself in those large mirrors as I'm an editor and writer, not a celebrity. Recently I let the color grow out and kind of like the silver, only I'm afraid it makes me look older. I'm looking for kindness and gentleness and help--after reading about you I thought I might see if you are the specialist I'm looking for.
