| hair salon industry From: C ourtney 7/22/2007 Hi -- My name is Courtney, and I know your salon is absolutely fabulous, and I'm looking to break into the hair industry myself - And my main question is school -- Where do you recommend I go to school to become the most succesful hair stylist and hair colorist I can be? Where did you go to beauty school? Also What hair salon would you recommend for assisting? ? What do YOU like to see on a resume? As cheesy as all this may seem, thanks :D xox, Courtney Comment on this posting. |

| The Cottage hair salon in Beverly Hills From: lost customer 7/7/2007 Christopher. I just wanted to let you know I made a appoinment to see you a few weeks ago after hearing about you. I did not show up to your salon because i ended up going to the Cottage hair salon in Beverly Hills on Robertson Blvd. I am very sorry. When i call on my cell phone they said you were at 201 n robertson blvd. I got confused and went to 201 s Robertson blvd. I now know the difference but did not see it. Anyways The Cottage hair salon is next store to that address. I went in and said i had a appointment for cut and highlights. when they said they did not have me down. i said i booked it with Lance Christopher weeks a go. The said oh and said they would take care of me. They said they never hear and did not know of the salon. Anyways they did my hair nice and everything. It's just that i thought they should of directed to me to your salon. today i realised you are only 3 blocks down the street. I just think The Cottage hair salon is very unprofessional and very unkind to you buy not telling me you were 3 blocks down the street. Shame on them. Everyone needs business but they shouldn't steel your customers when they are looking for you i think. I will make an appointment with you next time though. Someone at the supermarket told me about you. when i said i liked her hair. hope this helps. Comment on this posting. |
| Hair Help! From: Misty 7/6/2007 8:41:18 AM I have thick, heavy hair. I definitely don't want a short style, but right now it is about 4 inches past my shoulders. It is so hot and humid here where I live, that most of the time my hair ends up in a ponytail. I really like the shoulder-length style in the picture of Jessica Simpson and Kelly Clarkson's new cut. I need some advice because my hair needs help right now...it is flat and lifeless. Any ideas? Comment on this posting. |

| color correction for dyed hair From: Paris 7/2/2007 Hi. I just had a "color correction" done...I had dyed my hair myself to cover too-blonde highlights and it came out too dark. It is still not quite the right shade of brown (I want it lighter, but they told me it won't go lighter)...is it possible to lighten my hair further without much damage? Thanks!
