Craigslist colorist / stylist position
From: Angie
5/21/2005

I was just browsing through Craigslist and was curious what type of employment you may have open at the moment or near future.
I am a stylist/colorist currently working way to ofar away from home and am trying to find something closer. I have a small client base in the burbank, SFV area, possibly 5 - 10 people, but I am great at building and maintaining clients.
I also have a resume and small portfolio I can show you.
I look forward to talking with you soon.

coloring and cutting my own hair
From: Leslie
5/20/2005

I'm 53 (feel 37) have fine, thinning hair, and I'm overweight (working on that). I'm also allergic to hair sprays, cosmetics, most gels, etc. For years I've been coloring and cutting my own hair because it just seemed easier--I hate looking at myself in those large mirrors as I'm an editor and writer, not a celebrity. Recently I let the color grow out and kind of like the silver, only I'm afraid it makes me look older. I'm looking for kindness and gentleness and help--after reading about you I thought I might see if you are the specialist I'm looking for.
I tried a salon in Beverly Hills called Borrelli but I did not Like the work. I want to come see you. please email me back a appointment.

Hello, I have searched the web and keep coming to your website as I am looking for the corporate site for Mega Hair Extensions. I've heard they're great, but I can't locate where to purchase. Could you please do me a huge favor and pass a contact number or email onto me?
Not to worry you about competition, but I am located in a small town in Wisconsin, nowhere near the LA area.

Thank you for any help you can offer me.

Sincerely,
Gina Boland

Working at your salon

Lance,

Hi. I just wanted to right you a quick note. You sounded a little irritated on the phone so I didn't want to get into it with you. There are reasons why I can't work there right now, not because I'm not ready to change, trust me I am. My boyfriend started a business of his own not to long ago, and as you know it's very hard and stressful, and you need a lot of help and support. So I jumped the gun a little to soon as far as myself moving on. I'm sorry I inconvenienced you by doing that. I would honestly love to work at your shop. I liked you a lot, I thought your shop was a great place. You have a lot to offer, but I'm going to have to wait another 6-7 months until he's settled. I really had to think about it alot this week, because I sincerely wanted to work at your salon, and I think I could be an asset to you. Again I apologize for the aggravation. Let me know if you would be open to me talking to you again towards the end of the year.
